Empowering Women with Dignity, Faith, and Opportunity

In Islam, women are honored, respected and it is compulsory for women to be granted all fundamental rights. Women have the right to education, financial independence, inheritance, and participation in society with dignity and respect.

Our Women Empowerment Program is rooted in Islamic values of justice (Adl) and compassion (Rahmah). We are committed to uplifting women spiritually, socially, and economically so they can become confident contributors to their families and communities.

One of the greatest examples is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA), a successful and respected businesswoman. Her legacy shows that Islam encourages women to engage in trade, earn income, and contribute to society with honor.Providing women with the means to earn a lawful (halal) income is not just charity — it is Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) that strengthens families and communities.

In Bangladesh, many women have limited access to resources, financial opportunities, and safe working environments. Despite their strength and potential, women often face discrimination and unequal treatment when working alongside men. These challenges make it difficult for them to achieve economic independence and stability.

At Al Manahil, we believe that empowering women with the right resources and skills is one of the most effective ways to break this cycle. When women are financially independent, they uplift not only themselves but also their families and entire communities.

Sewing Machine Support Program

Bangladesh has a strong and globally recognized textile and garment sector. Sewing and garment stitching are valuable and in-demand skills across the country. Recognizing this opportunity, Al Manahil has introduced a Sewing Machine Support Program for underprivileged women.
