Sadaqah is voluntary charity given out of compassion, love, and care for others. Unlike Zakat, which is obligatory, Sadaqah can be given at any time, in any amount, and provides immense spiritual rewards while helping those in need.
When you give Sadaqah, you’re not just helping others — you’re purifying your wealth, increasing your blessings, and earning continuous rewards that continue even after this life.
Charity is not merely an act of worship that draws a Muslim closer to Allah, but it is also a key to goodness and blessings in daily life.
Charity blesses wealth and multiplies it, as Allah opens new doors of sustenance for the giver through charity. The Muslim feels that his provision does not decrease but rather increases in blessings and goodness. This is among the benefits of charity for sustenance.
The impact of charity on a Muslim’s life is not limited to it being an act of worship that improves one’s lifestyle in this world. Rather, it is a long-term investment that greatly benefits the Muslim in the Hereafter
“O believers give of what We have provided for you” (Qur’an 2:254)
This verse teaches us an important principle. Whatever we have received and whatever we own really comes from Allah. Therefore, by giving in His cause, we are inviting His blessings more.
